Another meeting at Nong Pho school. What did your grandparents use to wrap food? The children make many drawings of banana leafs, bamboo, and others. We will show them later at our final event.

Diving in the Nongpho waste bins, we find out, that the village has a lot of food left overs, packed in plastic bags. We want to invite Nongpho to separate their waste: Put food & others into the waste bin, and the plastic packages into a plastic bag beside the waste bin.

Today we walked into another area of the village. Here are many dairy farmers. The cows are standing all the time in the cowshed, because the farmers have no land anymore. They sold it. The water is is heavily contaminated by all the cow shit. The farmers have many dogs. They give us a lot of problems this morning. Run, run, run…

The dairy farmer donates a bag of plastic bottles. Thank you!

Two young boys participate in our plastic collecting group. Hopefully we can involve more kids…

Like every morning the Buddhist Monks collect food offers by the residents, and in exchange to that, they pray for them. This morning we join their walk through the village and collect plastic waste and hand out info papers about the project.

Meeting again with 100 children of Nongpho School, the younger ones. After a short introduction we again collect plastic waste around the school and the temple. And we try to teach them to learn to separate the plastic.
