Nongpho School Plastic Collection
Meeting with 100 children of Nongpho School. After a short introduction we collect a lot of plastic waste around the school and the temple. We teach them to learn to separate the plastic. Not easy!

Visit to the local plastic buyers
We visit the local plastic buying company „Wongpanit Nongpho“. The director informs us of the different materials they like to buy and their rates for the different items.

Plastic Cage
We build the Plastic Cage, the place every one from the village can drop their plastic. Together, we will sort everything and prepare the STUPA building.

„Plastic Killer“ Jingle
There is Village Radio in Nongpho, broadcasted over loudspeakers in the streets every morning and evening. We made a Radio-Jingle for it. Listen:

Main Location
Jiandyin of Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts & Culture talked to the head of the Nongpho monastery. They confirmed the project concept and location. We will build a STUPA from plastic waste at the temple.

First Participants
We visit the farmer Montree Chroenraksa. He wants to join the project and collect all the plastic waste of his farm and his family.

Plastic Flyer
We design an info flyer: „How can the plastic waste in the community be reduced? „PLASTIC KILLER“ invites you to join together. We will sorting plastic waste properly. Through art activities! Bring the plastic you collect into a plastic bag. We will gather from you in the next days.“

Nongpho, Thailand
The project takes place in the small town of Nongpho near Ratchaburi. Title: PLASTIC KILLER. Theme: How can local communities deal with their own waste?
